Programme:Drawing inspiration from the New Nordic Food Manifesto and the Eat Right Movement led by the Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), we turn solutionaries to map out how we can move towards a sustainable consumption culture that will ensure zero waste and zero hunger, safeguard the interests of small and marginal farmers, protect our collective health and the future of the planet, and lay the ground for the dissemination of new food technologies and the idea of smart food cities.

In association with the Eat Right Mela of the FSSAI and the National Association of Street Vendors of India.

Programme: Harnessing the soft power of India’s gastronomy to draw higher tourist footfalls, create additional ‘buzz’ around our tourist destinations, and open up new employment opportunities, especially for women in backward areas.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: Presentation of the Citizens White Paper on Gastronomic Tourism in India, prepared by the Tasting India Symposium for the Ministry of Tourism.

The evening will be presided over by Keshav Suri, Executive Director of The Lalit Hotels, and one of the signatories to the petition that led the Supreme Court to decriminalise homosexuality.
