Farmers from different parts of the country come and share their thoughts on the challenges of organic farming, reviving indigenous crops and improving rural livelihoods for small-holder farmers by creating direct market linkages for regional produce. The discussion will be conducted by Ishira Mehta and Puneet Jhajharia of CropConnect, most recently in Fortune magazine’s 40 Under 40 list, who have been addressing the challenge of connecting the farmers to the mushrooming food marketplace.

The ten principles that would enable chefs and travel industry stakeholders join hands with enlightened food producers to lay the foundation for a sustainable world based on organic farming, chemical-free food, local and seasonal produce, and junk-free schools.
